20 Red Angus cows were purchased along with a prize bull – Jumbo.
The herd has now

2001
5 Hectares of vines were planted for the purpose of producing wine.
– Varieties of wines being, Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay.
2002
An olive orchard was planted. Varieties of Frontoia and Mission Olives were Planted
2003
The vinyard was increased by another 5 hectares of Merlot and Shiraz. The grapes that are harvested are delivered to the Tulbagh Cellars for further processing into wine.
Since 2000, we have sown approximately 160 hectares Oats and Wheat annually.
2008
Saw the first production of our own Eikelaan Olive Oil. Our bottled Olive Oil is sold on the Farm.
